I was trying to fight the Vegas bosses… first level was quite easy with the usage of stun guns and shiv… In the second level the bosses had a very good amount of health… I have noticed that we all hardly get enough help in fights.
I have used all the stun guns, shiv and health packs and the health was too low as compared to any of the boss.
What I did was a easy task… I opened the mafia wars in two tabs… I started the fight, and just before my health was about to exhaust, I REFILLED IT in the other tab and the fight was continued in the previous tab…. Had to repeat this act so many times, so you will need a good amount of stamina to do this.
To make it more simple you can ask any of your friends to help you in the fight and follow the same procedure. This way you can win with lesser stamina too. Boss will not get time to regain health this way and you will defeat them in the most easy way.
Just make sure not to click RUN AWAY

There are a few things you should take into account to give you the best possible chance of winning. The most influential factor in your ability to win fights will be the size of your mafia. If you have the larger mafia, you will be very likely to come out on top in any given confrontation. If you don’t quite match your opponent in size, you’ll have to be significantly better equipped in order to have any real hopes of winning.
Your Top Mafia
The abilities of the people you have in your inner circle, or top mafia, will be another big influence on your ability to win fights consistently. You never know when you’re going to have to rely on the skills of these elite gangsters. It’s important to compare the abilities of your prospective top mafia members to insure you’ve got the right crew in place to get the job done when the need arises. Its better to keep searching and adding the best players in your mafia.
The Right Kinds of Weapons
You don’t just need to have a lot of weapons to win a fight. Remember that each of your mafia members can only use one at a time anyway, so there’s no point in having more weapons than you have mafia members. They’ll also automatically use the weapon with the highest rating available, so all you need to do is make sure you’ve got enough good equipment for them all. Depending on how many mafia members you have, you’ll have to go out and buy some of the weapons you’ll need to win fights. This isn’t the only way to accumulate it though. A lot of the stuff you’ll find useful in winning fights you’ll have to purchase in order to keep completing higher and higher level jobs anyway.
In any fight your top 501 mafia will assist you, they will be using your inventory for fights. Ie your best 501 weapons, armors and vehicles. So you must add the best of them in your arsenal. For example if you have :-
FOR ATTACK: 501 Ubijca Assault Rifle (43/18), 501 Shturmovik (45/28) and 501 Zoloto Sports Car (43/22)
FOR DEFENSE: 501 Zmeya Carbon Blade (28/44), 501 Executive Overcoat (22/45) and 501 Konstantin Cargo Carrier (18/44)
Or any other items with better stats than these… YOU WILL BE INVINSIBLE. This means that only 3 kind of items in attack and defense will be more than enough. (in that case all your other arsenal will be a waste for you so you can gift that all to your team who need them.)
How To Get These?
My strategy: Keep doing the jobs that give you these weapons and fight as much possible for maximum loots. Barter it with your team (I give them 2 or 3 guerilla squads for 1 Shturmovik). There are many people out there who are giving a good deal for LOTTO, I click a deal with them.
What Happens When Devil Meets His Match?
Lets assume that your opponent is your exact match. With all 501 of each to counter your attack. Here you can take advantage of boosts. Mastery and special items by godfather will play vital role in this kind of situation. Lets assume your opponent also has similar arsenal, in that case your personal attack and defense points will come in picture. (My strategy: never waste ur skill points in improving ur attack or defense stats from the beginning unless you have all the best of goodies in ur arsenal.) You can always use boosts for that purpose.
Boosts
Another way to increase your effectiveness in fights is to pick up some boosts. These are items like a tipwire, and extra pair of eyes, or hot coffee. They’re especially useful when someone else attacks you. You can acquire boosts by simply buying them, or as a bonus for vaulting or re-vaulting a collection. They can also be given as gifts. It’s a good idea to give some out to your mafia members and other friends.
Fight As Much Possible : It’s The Mafia Way
Before going into fights, research your opponent before pressing the attack button. Just do a quick run through to see how powerful the player is.
First, look at the size of the player’s mafia. I always tried to attack players with nearly the same size or smaller mafia as I have because more members means more weapons that will be used against you.
Second, look at the number of jobs, which will give you a sense of the player’s experience and how his profile points are distributed – the higher the number, the higher the probability that their attack and defense is strong. I usually attack players with about the same amount of jobs completed or lower.
Third, look at the number of wins and losses that your prospective opponents have. A higher loss to win ratio offers you a better chance of defeating them.
Forth, quickly browse through the player’s weapons arsenal. If you see that they have much stronger weapons than you or a large quantity of stronger weapons, it is best not to attack them.
Use Your Profile Points as Soon As Possible
As soon as you master a job or level up and earn profile points, use them to increase your strength of attack and defense, which will help you immediately in fights. The more fights you win, the faster you will earn experience points and level up. Round and round it goes like a circle. Sometimes I level up so fast.

Many people dont know or share the benefit of job mastery in New york. Most of those who dont know the benefits just jump over of another city or another job without completing all three levels. A couple of people asked me if the mastery means completing the 1st level. So I have compiled the info for everyone who is unaware. You may ignore it if you already knew…

Promoting members to top positions within your mafia:
The answer is that each of these positions requires a unique character type:
They must be a Fearless, Maniac, and Mogul…repectively.
Just make sure the character type matches for these three positions.
Below is the official release from the developers:
Mastermind – Choose the member with the most jobs completed and promote the best member to Mastermind for increased experience points when doing jobs.
Wheelman –Choose the member with the highest level, find and promote the best member with the Fearless character type to Wheelman for reduced energy cost on jobs.
Button Man – Choose the member with the highest level, find and promote the best member with the Maniac character type to Button Man for an increase in Attack.
Bodyguard – Choose the member with the most fights won and promote the best member to Bodyguard for an increase in Defense.
Safecracker – Choose the member with the most successful heists and promote the best member to Safecracker for increased money from fighting and robbing.
Bagman – Choose the member with the highest level, find and promote the best member with Mogul character type to Bagman for increased money from jobs.
